Avalon Springs lies in the gorgeous mountain town of Montagu along Route 62 in the Western Cape.

Not only is Montagu the home of South Africa’s dried fruit and nut industry, but also boasts a natural hot spring where water bubbles to the surface at a constant temperature of 43 degrees.

Avalon Springs is the custodian of these waters, which are extremely rich in minerals and purportedly have healing powers. Our pools and activities provide a great attraction to young and old alike, throughout the year.

Avalon is famous for its warm hospitality and incredibly friendly staff, and this comes through strongly in the consistently excellent feedback that is received from our guests, year on year.

Avalon Springs is a wonderful, family friendly resort, with a lot to offer for everyone. The past couple of years have been extremely hard for us as a family. Winning a getaway in the beautiful Route 62 and relaxing in the warm waters is exactly what we need to re-charge our batteries.
